Nice Connection to the Kit Colbana Series!
Her name is Frankie, and everyone believes she is a faith healer. She's not human, although she really can cure people of whatever ails them. Her partner and lover is Saleel, and the two travel from place to place so that Frankie's true nature won't be discovered. When she meets Kit Colbana, she senses issues and wants to help.
This was a nice taste of the Kit Colbana world. I wasn't sure if it would be enough of a connection to the other books to hold me over, but it did up being connected in a great way. I liked Frankie and was intrigued by her. I hope she will be a recurring character in the Kit Colbana books. I am really looking forward to Kit finding out what Frankie has done for her! I thoroughly enjoyed this short story. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an ARC in return for an honest review.
