I was fortunate to read Misfortune Teller!
This is a funny, sexy story about a secret society of supernatural beings that live among us. It includes all sorts of beings with cool capabilities! They can recognize each other, but regular humans can’t recognize them.
Our main character is Sasha, a seer. She is new to finding out about her abilities & unfortunately, misfortune follows her! Thankfully her gifts help keep her alive! She’s either incredibly lucky or incredibly gifted!
Sasha works in the stock trading business & her “predictions” make her very valuable to her boss, Nero. Not only is he her handsome boss she has sexy thoughts about, he’s also her new mentor because he has gifts of his own. There’s so much hot chemistry between them!
Sasha is also a magician/illusionist which makes her all the more fun & interesting. There’s a clever twist that surprised me, (which I LOVE in a book) and I’m excited to see where this leads! I didn’t want this book to end! I can’t wait to read more about Sasha & her colorful, quirky world!
