"CLEVER AND CHARMING, THIS TALE BRINGS IN EVERYTHING REGENCY FANS LOVE." Publishers Weekly starred review
There's no taming the wicked…
Debonaire bachelor Lord Andrew lives for pleasure and makes no apologies. But after a daring heiress falls from the sky and interrupts his plans for a tryst in the gardens, his once exciting life begins to feel dull. When he learns the intriguing miss is staying as his family's house guest, he abandons London and travels to the country only to learn the lady plaguing his dreams is forbidden—even if it were possible to tear down the wall she hides behind.
Reforming rakes is a fool's game…
After three Seasons of evading fortune hunters and a failed engagement, heiress Lana Hillary is exhausted and eager for a quiet month in the country with her best friend. Unfortunately, her social climbing mother views the invitation as an opportunity to play matchmaker. While her mother sets out to win her a Bavarian count, Lana is captivated by her host's charming brother. Flirting with trouble is meant to be harmless, but soon Lana becomes entangled with the most infamous scoundrel in England. And their romance is destined for heartbreak, either at their own hands or someone else's.

Entertaining and Enjoyable
Lady Alana has already been hurt by one lying, cheating, fortune-hunting scoundrel. She has no plans to repeat the experience. She even goes so far as to climb out a window and almost down a tree to escape an obnoxious suitor. The man who comes to rescue her from the tree is Lord Andrew Forest, third son of the Duke of Foxhaven, and scoundrel extraordinaire. This is their story and it is lighthearted and quite interesting. Can the rake who wants no part of marriage and the lady who wants no part of a rake find love together? Maybe. Lana and Drew are great together, even if they don’t believe it. Before they can find that happily-ever-after, they must face doubts about each other, protective brothers (hers and his), a determined match-making mother, a Bavarian Count, and a kidnapping. This is a well-written romance with a lot of humor, a bit of danger, and a dash of spice. Entertaining and enjoyable.
