Missadventure

MissAdventure is the journey of two woman from planning a year in advance, to packing, to traveling, and finally experiencing a 10 day hike through parts of Havasu Canyon and the Grand Canyon. One woman educated in camping, etc. The other purely with a love of the experience, and the will for the adventure.

MissAdventure is written as a journal starting a year in advance when the idea of the trip was discussed. Then through all the logistics of planning. A challenge as one of them would not and did not camp! And finally through the amazing experience day by day. The mistakes- which began on day one. To the characters they meet. The unexpected challenges they had to overcome. The book also includes many pictures of the journey. A once in a lifetime trip.

MissAdventure does give advance, but more importantly it is a fun, sometimes sarcastic view of life on the trail. It is written for anyone thinking about hiking the Grand Canyon but wants a shower and a warm meal every day! This book shows that can be done.
