Mission Command in the 21st Century: Empowering to Win in a Complex World is an anthology designed to hone the understanding of the Army’s central leadership philosophy. The articles featured in this collection address specific aspects of mission command such as initiative and commander's intent. Also included are chapters that examine the use of mission  command in specific settings such as cyber operations and in historical cases such as Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
