I remember the day two old guys in dark suits and hats, gave me the boat. It was 1960, I was nineteen. I had just walked out of my apartment and my relationship. I had nowhere to go and twelve bucks and change in my purse. A boat big enough to sleep on, regardless of how broken down she might be, well, that was just too tempting to pass up. Following the Dive Master
Ever go to a art gallery and be drawn to a particular artwork and wonder what inspired the artist? Martha has the unique ability to draw you along…..as she did as a Dive Master. Over the coral wall to see the other side, what critter can we find in the sand, or lets’ see what is under this ledge. I must admit I found myself “binge reading” this great book to see what lay ahead.
Being a boater myself, the descriptions and nuances of the boating life come into full view. With her companion “Bosco” to temper her sanity, she reveals the true meaning of friendship through trial, error and choice.
A GREAT read from a great artist…….
