Mistaken for Angels

Newly married Joe and Sofia escape unemployment and hopelessness in Portland, Oregon, by shouldering their backpacks and setting out to start a new life somewhere near the crashing waves of the Pacific coast. Their trip takes on a life of its own as they search for the heart and soul of America during the massive financial meltdown of 2009. It’s a journey of many layers as they learn about themselves, each other, and the people they encounter.
