Rodeo bullfighter Hank Brookman was headed straight for the top. But after a single misstep resulted in devastating injury, he disappeared under a mountain of regrets. Now he's back, ready to face the loved ones he left behind—starting with the one girl his heart could never forget.
When Hank stormed out of their small Texas town, he left Grace McKenna picking up the pieces…and struggling with a secret that changed everything. He may be back looking for redemption, but after everything they've been through, how can she admit what he really walked away from all those years ago?
Hank always knew persuading Grace to trust him again would be a tall order. Convincing her they deserve a happily ever after? That may take a Texas-sized Christmas miracle.

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Dell (Fearless in Texas) skillfully continues her contemporary Western Texas Rodeo series with an able take on one of romance's most enduring tropes: a secret baby. Hank Brookman left Earnest, Tex., as a cocky bullfighter determined to set the rodeo world on fire until one mistake destroyed his career and sent him into an emotional spiral he almost couldn't pull out of. Hometown girl Grace McKenna has always loved Hank, even if he only saw her as a friend. But after a one-night stand with him leaves her pregnant, she heads to Oregon, where a lesbian couple adopts her baby. Now an athletic trainer at the Earnest high school, Grace is relatively happy until Hank comes back to town and she is forced to reveal her secret. Dell's expertise in the rodeo and ranching worlds shines through, providing authenticity and a colorful background. A subplot involving Hank's estranged, crotchety father and the intriguing, plain-spoken Native American woman who helped Hank rebuild his life add satisfying depth. With only a smattering of Christmas window dressing, this touching tale of redemption and forgiveness immerses readers in a world they won't want to leave.

Mistletoe
Once again Kari Lynn Dell delivers. The story just brings you into the rodeo circuit and life on the farm. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next one!
Mistletoe
Who does that to another person, that they love.
Storytelling at its finest
Having read this series from the beginning...and remembering the cocky young Hank paired up with the veteran Joe, and that first back if the head slap from the latter to the former...finally Hank having his own story was so well worth the wait...the author has out done herself in the range of emotions this story brought about.
The memories evoked of the young Hank, to his appearance again when he turned up at Bing’s and the transformation to the Hank who came back was so very gratifying to say the least. How Ms Dell was able to create such a character who swung the pendulum through the series is once again a testament to her story telling talent. In Hank is a character who initially made me smile and then brake my heart at his spiral downward, to his charming me with his gentleness where Grace was concerned and then finally his abilities to recognize the amends he needed to make and the effort at overcoming them...especially with his father. Wow! Talk about pulling at the heartstrings. I cannot put into words the changes between Hank and his father...it can only be experienced within the pages of this story.
Throughout the story, leading up to Hank’s stories, I felt myself being weaved through the truths of Hank and Grace’s lives and how each person played an integral in the very heartwarming conclusion not only to story, but for each character who has made an appearance throughout. Now if only Gil could find his HEA!
