Summertime Read
4 Stars. PPSR. Perfect Patterson Summer Read. Outstanding mystery with a completely impossible, unbelievable, crazy story. Ben is actually a good character. I could see him getting another story. I think this one’s from 2013 but in some ways was perfect for our world today. Fast and fun. Patterson’s stand alone’s can be the best read when you just want a thrill ride. This one fit that bill perfectly.

If your just trying to kill time, read this book
Not to say that Mistress was not a good book, it was decent and I did enjoy the writing, it's not mentally stimulating. There were many times I felt as if the story was just dragging on, and it was a bit predictable. The book was exciting, and I did enjoy reading it, but Mistress was more of a, I don't really want to think about anything and veg out and read, type of book.
