Moby-Dick or, The Whale

How far can a man's revenge go? Is it possible to kill a monster, especially when it's hidden in yourself? And is there a limit to human power? Now the sailor prepares himself for the last fight, his mind is engaged in plannig the death of the monster. However, the author through the other sailor's point of view shows Ahab's maniacal state, his obsession with the creature. Consequently their fates appear to be bound together.

Even the names of the heroes allude to the Biblical setting and give the book its grand scale. The author is    still a bit humorous about our role in this world, he jokes about our misinterpreting the laws of life and the world.
