Publisher Description
Book of Donald F. Megnin.
As a sequel to my autobiography (A Farm Boy Sees The World), this volume is a continuation, but highlights the attendance in seminary, meeting the person who was and is literally the turning point of my life (Julie), the subsequent new direction which our lives took from that point onward, is portrayed in a detail similar to that of a living diary. Ironically, the argument between my father and mother over whether I should attend seminary or not proved to be the wisdom of my mother in contrast to the dogmatism of my father. Had I not gone to seminary, which my mother strongly supported in contrast to my father, who couldn’t understand why I would even consider such a choice, my life has become a reflection of the hope, the values and the intrinsic beliefs of my mother in the universal goodness of all peoples, I like to believe has been exemplified in the lives of Julie and myself.
