Monopole Sea

They called me Xant the Pirate. Yes, I’m the creator of the paradise drug, pfysh. I had a run-in with that drug lord, Rebello, that got me exiled to a planet on the other side of nowhere. Monopole was 1300 light years from Earth. I was supposed to “explore” it on behalf of the Cayman Confederacy. What a joke!

Monopole was a bizarre planet in the shadow of the Cosmic String. Some super creatures there had metabolisms based on magnetic monopoles. Dewbirds, rollers, curly grass -- fantasy life forms.

Saoirse, that red-headed rebel, transported from an Earth that was 1300 years newer. She had something called Conscious Agent science and a plan for vengeance.

I was just trying to survive becoming a Monopole mage.
