Publisher Description
As a child, I was told that the monster in my closet was just a figment of my imagination. But one day, he became real and took me away from my home and family.
I'm trapped in another realm where I will fight for my freedom and life. But something much more sinister than the monster who took me here has their sights set on me—they want my head.
I'm the only person who can stop them. I must set aside my fears and embrace my destiny as a warrior. Because if I don't, no one else will stand in their way of them ruling this realm with an iron fist.
Follow Lila into a creepy fantasy world of monsters, dragons, and other creatures. It's an epic tale full of action, adventure, and romance.

Great premise
The premise of a monster in a child’s closet has always been great. The author took the premise into Lila’s adulthood where she is on psych meds and counseling for “seeing a monsters no one else sees. Over time, she becomes infatuated with the man who visits her. Shal can only visit for short periods of time and I’d totally possessive and smitten with Lila. The story doesn’t heat up or have a lot of action until at least midpoint when Lila is kidnapped. The drawback for me was I felt the story was more telling than showing.
