Terrific addition to a terrific series
The 13th book in the Blackthorn Academy for Supernaturals series, is one of the best books, yet. I really, really enjoyed it and read it in less than 24 hours. The characters are great and pretty realistic for supernaturals. I could see being friends with them, easily.
The MFC, Amrin (Luna), is feisty but a bit vulnerable. A short, curvy witch with no magic, she’s been constantly compared, and found lacking, to her thin, beautiful, talented sisters. Escaping to Blackthorn Academy is the happiest she’s been in her entire life. She meets Sten and they instantly know they’re meant to be together, despite what her cruel, judgmental family thinks.
An action packed tale with lots of steam, Monster's Heart is a definite must read.

Fun read
Another couple are the stars in this book as return to Blackthorn as Amrin and Sten meet and after spending time together fall for each other. But nothing is ever straight forward and couples always have some baggage that causes issues. Fun and entertaining to read and watch it all unfold.
