Hot Delta Force Cowboy and sexy female Army Ranger plan a wedding to trap a saboteur
Dallas Hayes muscled her way through Army Ranger training only to be considered a curse on her all-male unit in an operation in Syria. When half the team is killed, she’s left Injured, losing the lower portion of her leg and is medically discharged from the life she loved in the Army. A fight with her physical therapist at Walter Reed lands her at the Brighter Days Rehab Ranch in Montana with an offer to join the Brotherhood Protectors.
Retired Delta Force soldier, Vince “Viper” Van Cleave, did his time in the Army but hasn't managed to fit into the civilian world. What can an expert sniper do with his life when not shooting at enemy combatants? A widower, his first assignment is to masquerade as the groom of a former Army Ranger female and stage a wedding to smoke out a wedding saboteur. Together, they make a formidable team that might just make it to the altar intact.

Fantastic!
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a fantastic book. The plot and intrigue flowed smoothly and I couldn't put it down. I didn't have a clue as to the identity of the criminal at all. The characters were so genuine. I fell in love with them! I will have to go back and read from the beginning of the series as the secondary characters from prior books were awesome as well. I love when an author includes prior characters. It is like saying hello to good friends. I highly recommend this book to anyone.
Brings a whole new meaning to Wedding Stress!
As if weddings arn’t stressful enough, someone is out to stop them from happening in Eagle Rock. Viper is a new Brotherhood Protector, and is following behind fellow Brotherhood Protector Taz and Hannah who are leaving for their honeymoon when the limousine loses control. As this is not the first of many attempts on the brides and groom of Eagle Rock, Hank Patterson, founder of Brotherhood Protectors decided something needs to be done and assigns Viper his first assignment, find who is trying to stop the weddings. Of course every groom needs a bride. Dallas is a former Army Ranger who since losing her leg does not know what her life will be like. For so long, she has only known military life. Hank hires Dallas for the part of Bride. Viper and Dallas fight to survive the wedding planning and find the person who doesn’t just say ‘I object’ at weddings, but tries to stop them at any cost. Like all of the Brotherhood Protector stories, this one keeps you guessing to the end until the good guys win and get a HEA love story too.
I received an ARC of the book but this is an honest opinion. I even have purchased the book to keep with the others in the series.
Dallas & Viper
Dallas, a medically retired Army Ranger, is having trouble adjusting to life without a leg. She finds herself at Brighter Days Rehabilitation Ranch in hopes of working out some of her issues. While there, she works along side other former military men who are also adjusting to life without various limbs. At the ranch, she is not considered "less than" or a "curse" to the men in the unit. Instead, the men rally around and support each other.
Vince, also known as "Viper", is also retired from the Army serving as a sniper. Viper has also had trouble adjusting to life after the Army, not really finding his purpose. He is plagued with guilt for not being there when his wife and baby needed him and knows he's not cut out for a relationship. When Hank, of Brotherhood Protection Agency, offers him a job he jumps at the opportunity to make a difference. But when his first assignment has him in a "fake" marriage, he's not sure if he can play the part.
Dallas, raised by her father as more of a tomboy, is in over her head as a fiancé. She doesn't even own a dress or know how to apply makeup! Viper hasn't wanted to kiss or even hold hands with a woman since his wife died. If they can work together long enough to capture the saboteur before he kills someone, they will have proven their worth to Hank.
Quirky, fun, suspenseful.... I enjoyed how the girls supported Dallas and took her under their wings. Viper's ribbing of Dallas was highly entertaining. Dallas' yearning to be more feminine, but tough was very realistic. Dallas and Vioer made excellent partners and more. I loved the twist at the end! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
