Really Enjoying This Series!
I'm loving this series. It reminds me of Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series. Great characters, well researched backstory and creative paranormal world. Was alarmed by the other review of this book but after reading the book, I thought the same sex relationship was beautifully done. I don't usually find it in the other books I read nor do I particularly want to, but it was an asset to this story and furthered the representation of the Chrechte as beings who honor love and life in all forms.
I need to read them more slowly because I can tell I'll be very sad when I get to the most recent book!
Horrible
I'm disappointed at the need to put a token gay person in there. More so when it makes no sense. If they must expand their population why waste a male of the race. If these things are truly planed by their god. Sounds more random to me which is contradictory. Also they mention it could be two woman. How is the bond made then if they can't have intercourse. That is what does it not oral and such.
