Excellent, couldn’t put it down!

Characters you have feelings about, a story that keeps pulling you in, technology that’s just close enough to be believable. A fun read and a great subject.

Great story with poor composition

I highly recommend this but only if you have the stamina to decipher run on sentences and poor punctuation. Such problems detract from the flow of the story. Sometimes the flow stops completely because it is not clear who or what the author meant. There is also the problem of continuity: Is Janice Jones the doctor, as she is first introduced, or the RN she is later presented as and who is separate from the doctor?

This is an exciting SF story of the settlement of the moon based on the discovery of a new power source. It is also an interesting story of the political and, unfortunately, military ramifications of such a development. The characters are well written. The main character is especially thought out and thoughtful.
I really liked this book and would give it five stars if it weren't so frustrating to read. I can also recommend Harris's book titled ELGIN but with the same reservation. They both read as if they were dictated rather than written.

Moon Dreams

I really enjoyed this book especially the last half when it really got cooking! The back story was very involved and important to understanding the crisis and actions the characters needed to take to resolve the problem. I found the concept of a revolutionary energy propulsion system fascinating as I did the power grab that resulted.
