Moon Witherspoon presents The Moon Rhymes...Again

Back in 2001 Mark Creech and Donny Yankellow teamed up to create The Moon Rhymes. combing the fun and imaginative poems of Mark and the hand painted illustrations of Donny. Back then they self published as an ebook on CD and printed their own copies and hand bound them. Now, more than 16 years later they have reimagined The Moon Rhymes and released this new version allowing the Moon to rhyme again. 


The book still contains the zany characters like juggling wolverines, or a snail in jail, or a perch who goes to church, and more but with changes for the better. Some of the poems have been touched up while others have been completely rewritten. The illustrations have been completely redrawn on an iPad with the Apple Pencil using the app Procreate keeping the original feel, but, like the poems, in some cases completely redone.


The stories and fun rhymes in the writing and the colorful and bright illustrations will keep children of all ages coming back to read this new version again and again and again.
