Good series
I’ve read this author before and really like her, but this series has a lot going for it. Only it’s like it was rushed the second book isn’t consistent on where they are when having sex. Her room or John’s dump. The doorman says (name) instead of the name. The grandfather’s name changes from cover of book, to what Lara says, to what others call him.
There’s no wrap up with the mayor. Jon’s ex is shot in the head murdered, Jon blamed, then dating the mayor who dates a lot. The grandfather said they’d used serum on female sharpshooter but then Lara’s the first female. The office was shot up by policemen in masks, but the third book said bomb. Michelle her boss was critical injured may not make it, then in a meeting yelling at everyone.
Great ideas but the flow through and tying loose ends didn’t happen.
