More Poetry and Reflection

More Poetry and Reflection is Roger Neumaier's second volume of poetry written after his retirement in 2014. Neumaier's poems track his recognition and acceptance of changes in, and challenges to, his life as well as his growing understanding of the world around him. The book straddles the line between personal philosophy and poetry.

More Poetry and Reflection addresses the philosophical questions Neumaier cares about, namely exploring how humans respond to the world in which we live. He utilizes the poetry format while writing about these value laden ideas because of the structural freedom that poetry gives and the simplicity it encourages.

The poems in this book were written between March of 2021 and January of 2026. They are presented in the order they were written.
