MORE SCARS ON PLANET EARTH

If you happen to be traveling through Outer Space, you might
be fortunate enough to pass in the direction of the planet Earth,
a beautiful smooth, round object hurtling in an orbit around the
sun, on a prescribed course, with its satellite moon orbiting
around it. Earth has made countless trillion revolutions around
the sun, which will be repeated for evermore.
Man has dug holes in the earth’s surface to rob it of its precious
metals and minerals. He has caused deforestation and burnt
the vegetation, exploded bombs, destroyed structures which
he and others have built, killed the birds of the air and the sh
of the sea. He has helped to decrease the animal population of
the earth for the purpose of eating it, or owning its horns, or its
skin and its teeth, He has poisoned the air and the lakes. He
has slaughtered his brothers. The scars may be seen almost
everywhere. There are also wounds where they cannot be seen,
as in the minds of man.
