Max Armstrong, one of America's favorite farm broadcasters, traveled thousands of miles by air and ground to hear the stories of the men and women of the Heartland. Armed with endless curiosity and a winning personality, Max visited farmers and producers at their kitchen tables, in their tractors and combines. He visited processing plants where farm products were converted to food and so many other products, toured the factories where farm equipment is built, and enjoyed the end product at restaurants across the region.
