Mortal Remains by Kaylea Cross
I absolutely love Kaylea Cross. She’s a great author. I’ve read over 20 of her books and she is my favorite author. She thoroughly researches the topics she writes of, gives justice to the militaries and creates a wonderful plot with a narrative that flows. This book is a romantic suspense that has substance to it. The story is told grammatically well ( I absolutely hate when you read a book and you have to correct it to understand it. None of the pronoun or tense mistakes. You don’t have to worry about that with a book written by KC. Truly a pleasure to read! ) I love the funny antics of the dog’s view. This story line has a few twists in it - you anticipate and are completely thrown off course by something else happening. I had a hard time putting it down and anxiously await her next novel.
