Most Wanted Magazine Vol. 1

This magazine was created as an effort to highlight the activities of a select few African American creatives all across the country, and hopefully the globe. In an industry where our literacy of African American culture has surpassed outdated elementary school textbooks, we now have the chance to change the discourse of African American art not only for education purposes but entertainment as well. For years the the idea of African African creativity has been absorbed and consumed to the point of pure mass production, that some of the most talented, unheard of African American artists are overlooked due to a constant demand for a specific genre of "Black Entertainment." With this digital magazine, my ultimate goal is to change that perspective on black culture in the media. Not only do I want to showcase black creativity, but I also want to highlight the experience that comes with that creative intelligence; the conversations to be had about that intelligence. I want this to be a space for some of the most wanted entertainment in the world... so without further delay, enjoy.
