Nights out are hard to come by for new parents. So when Kate’s new- mommy club, Roo & You, holds a dinner cruise, she and her husband leave baby Laurie with Kate’s mom and join the grown-ups for some fine dining on the San Francisco Bay.

3. Find good “how to” book for PI business.
4. x Find dress for the cruise (done)
5. x Ask Mom to babysit (done)
An excellent well written mystery! Kate Connelly is on a dinner cruise when a murder occurs. She gets involved because she can’t seem to not get nosy! In the right place at the right and wrong time throughout the book is so true.
She is hired by a woman to prove her husband is cheating on her but the plot thickens and you definitely have plot twists. Because she is being helped by her mom, best friend, Paula and a recovering PI. So much action and we must not forget all the help she gets from her husband Jim and Kenny.
I throughly enjoyed the book and do recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great mystery!
Bundle of Trouble
Interesting account of the busy life of a new mom with the challenges of a job plus conflicting emotions. The story is light, fun, and entertaining.
Motherhood is murder
A funny book. I'm a great grandmother but the new mother anxieties were right there on every page. The Velcro girdle made me laugh so hard tears came to my eyes. An enjoyable story about a new mother who wants to be a detective but without a license she must convince her detective friend to let her use his. She solves the case. A good laugh!
