Captivating Romantic Suspense
In this second book in the Kane Sisters series, super-talented storyteller Shannon Redmon once again delivers a skillfully paced narrative with perfectly timed twists and revelations which kept me completely engrossed from the exciting beginning to the totally surprising ending. What a thrilling return to the small mountain town of Shadow Creek, North Carolina, for a reunion with the courageous, independent woman of the Kane family! This story features Detective Leila Kane, who is targeted by a serial killer, and ex-fiancé Officer TJ Snowe, who is assigned to protect her. To quote the author, "They weren't just two people working through their complicated past. A calculating killer hunted them and always seemed to be one step ahead." Compelling characters, intense suspense, thrilling action, sweet second chance romance, and an inspiring faith thread with themes of love and forgiveness are expertly woven together in a way that is both entertaining and emotionally engaging.
