More a collection of thoughts than a meaningful book.
The author states that the text is collection of various items from his blogs. That's a good assessment. I started the book thinking that the text would provide meaningful insight on career change. In spots it did. However, most of the text was difficult to get through. About 10 pages from completing the book I hit a phrase where the author stated ( my perception ) that academics wasn't so important today because degrees can been cheaply acquired. That's when I stopped reading. In my personal experience degrees cannot be cheaply acquired. The obvious cost is much higher now than when I received my first degree and this doesn't take into account time lost with family and personal time lost trying to achieve a personal goal.
