MR. VINEGAR

Joseph Jacobs was a notable collector of English fairy tales. He popularized such stories as: The Cat and the Mouse, Jack the Giant Killer, Jack and the Beanstalk. Three little Pigs is one of the most popular English fairy tales, it has been translated to many languages. Jacobs published the first best-known form of the story in English Fairy Tales in 1890.

“Mr. Vinegar” is a short story by Joseph Jacobs about Mr. and Mrs. Vinegar that lived in a vinegar bottle. But some day an unlucky thump of the broom brought the whole house into ruins.
