As always, the pacing is snappy, the plot is just complicated enough, and the period details are spot-on. Back to days when one wore gloves and driving coats when driving. An invite of a party was for select friends and family’s to spent several days at Parkview Hall. A luxury now for Olivia, and when this black tie affair turns deadly, and a suspect is a family member, to step up and solve. The plot was well described to the luxury and the times of 1923, and a sofisdicated killer intrusion to this high society affair. Readers will definitely enjoy and can be read alone.
