Nice beginning to a series
Characters came together and interacted very well, made you feel like you were right there among them. No sexual references or language so I can recommend this to advanced reading preteen looking to find nice book.

Fun characters that were intriguing as I got to know them.

Enjoyed the characters of Cryptic Cove. Glad to not know about who the murderer was until the end.
