Muro's Secret

Jozefo is just a normal boy with spider eyes who lives in a small town called Festo surrounded by a giant wall of thick, barbed branches that the locals call Muro. It has been a long time since anyone has passed through, since Muro will eat anyone who takes that chance. Jozefo and the townspeople hold their annual celebration in honor of the Harvest God for another abundant year but as the night goes on, strange things begin to happen and Jozefo can't help but wonder what secrets Muro hides. 

"Muro's Secret" is a short story set in the Mordryd Universe but you do not have to read any of the other stories to understand what's going on. All of the stories set in this universe can be read separately and in whatever order you choose.
