If I can keep Hush Note's leading guitarist, Nixon Winters, on the straight and narrow for the next six months, I'll finally get my own band to manage—assuming we don't kill each other first.
The egotistical, irritating rock star is fresh out of rehab, but it's obvious his demons followed him home—and now I'm sleeping down the hall.
I've watched him self-destruct every summer, and with album deadlines and tour dates looming, I can't let it happen again. My career is in his hands.
But tattoos can't cover every scar, and I'm starting to see through his trademark, irresistible charm to the damage beneath.
Everyone wants the rock star.
I'm falling for the man.
If he doesn't let me in, he'll never break the cycle—and when these six months are up, I might be the one left broken

The perfect finale to the MUST READ Hush Note series!
Muses and Melodies was my first introduction to Rebecca Yarros, and it won't be the last! This sexy, emotional, and entertaining standalone rock star romance was the perfect finale to the MUST READ Hush Note series, and I absolutely loved Nixon and Zoe's story!
The storyline was fantastic. The author did an excellent job with Nixon and Zoe’s rock star romance and I loved her writing style. Nixon and Zoe's journey was real, raw, and gritty at times, but had so much depth, meaning, emotion, and redemption. I loved every minute of this book and was very pleased with the outcome.
The characters were wonderful. I loved Nixon and Zoe so much. They stole my heart and I was rooting for them from the start. Nixon and Zoe had great personalities, even though they could both be stubborn. Their sexual tension and chemistry together was smoking hot, and I loved nearly all of their banter and interactions with each other. Nixon and Zoe’s road to happily ever after was an uphill battle, to say the least, but one so worth it in the end.
Muses and Melodies was the perfect ending to the MUST READ Hush Note series, and I absolutely loved Nixon and Zoe’s sexy, emotional, and entertaining story. Rebecca Yarros did an incredible job with this standalone rock star romance, and I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from her in the future!
Loved it! Such a great read!
Loved it! Just absolutely loved it!
Nixon and Zoe’s story in Muses & Melodies by Rebecca Yarros was absolutely amazing. Their story was emotional, touching, heartbreaking and heartfelt all at once. Though each book in the series can be read as a standalone, I do suggest reading them in order as there are some spoilers on the previous couple AND each book is definitely worth the read.
We have seen a bit of Nixon in the previous book and we know, just know, his story is going to be heart-rending. We know he is a man who is lost and carries a big secret. Zoe was the perfect woman for him. She is strong, determined and caring even as she does not take his crap. And yet, she is always there for him.
Nixon has just finished rehab and Zoe is put in charge of keeping an eye on him. She is determined to do so, as it means finally reaching her dreams. But he does not make it easy on her and when the chemistry between is sizzling, can they keep it professional? What will happen when his secrets are revealed? Will they be able to survive them? Their journey will capture your heart and never let it go. I loved it and the epilogue is everything. I highly recommend not only this book but the entire series.
Oh my!!!! In the first book in this series, I thought I need Nix in my life, like ASAP. My stars did he not disappoint....
I’m not usually one to read series out of order but I haven’t read book two yet, partly because of time and partly because I didn’t think I could focus on Quinn when I needed to know all the things about Nix. This book is everything. I loved Zoe so much. She’s probably the only person in the whole world who could handle the hot mess express that is Nixon.
Rebecca Yarros always brings it with the angst and the ugly cry and I expected nothing less of her contribution to the Hush Note series. Now I have to go back to Rifts and Refrains....
