Its a really good series and will have you wanting to keep on reading.
For anyone who contemplates reading this
I have not read this book, however I have read the web novel translation till the end and all the side stories with it. I found this series to be one of the greatest stories I have read in my life. The main character is not a template protagonist, he is a person. While some points in the story get a bit iffy on the morals, it is set in a Middle Ages fantasy type setting.
The first few books are purely just entertaining, but after just a little bit of fun, a story emerges. This is a book about the life of a failure of a human going after a second chance of having a fulfilling life. This is the life of a man by the name of Rudeus, and how he chose to live.
Anyway if you read this far and are still interested in the book (although I admit this is not that long) just give it a try. You might just love it more than I did.
It’s worth the read
It really is
