Interesting

This book wasn't as much of a page turner as "This Book Will Save Your Life" but I like her style. Although the story was a little dark and there were few moments of closure or complete happiness in the story line, it seemed like it could be very real picture of someone's life-lost through a seemingly forced routine of work and family, disconnected from those closest to you. The end was the last bit of disaster but I didn't expect things to get much better. I liked it and it's definitely a roller coaster ride through the shadows of domesticity.

Good, bad, or just ugly?

Reading this book is a little like watching a train wreck--you REALLY want to look away, but you just can't. And when it's over, you're glad it didn't happen to you.
The characters' lives are fascinating, but if you're looking for a coherent plot, you won't find it here. It's pretty inconsistent with writing and characterization, but what can I say? It's kind of addicting...
