Being candid,
Unfortunately, is a given
When you start penning poetry.
So here is a little part of my soul
That I penned down
Over some years.
Things I saw,
Things I heard
Things I felt
Neatly wrapped up
Inside a book spine
Because honestly,
There is nothing better than a book.
