Publisher Description
When Lucy planned a summer trip to Florence, she didn’t expect to have to go single. Or for the hotel manager to cheat her out of her river-view room. And especially not for a broody, handsome stranger to offer to swap rooms with her.
Offer is a euphemism. The mysterious George Emerson sort of brutalizes her into accepting the exchange. His gesture is as kind as the tone in which he poses it is barbaric, leaving Lucy rightfully confused.
What is it about this man that makes her heart race while simultaneously making her want to punch him in the face?
Only an unforgettable vacation under the Tuscan sun will unravel Lucy’s true feelings.
An enemies to lovers, grumpy sunshine rom-com.

Pretty good read
In the two days I read this I’d say it was a well written book with great characters and an interesting plot. If you like PG books if recommend this to you but if you like stuff a little spicer either check out Camilla Isley other books or any of Piper Lawson books. My two complaints would be it was too short for an ebook (I’m used to 600-1000 pages) an was more like a book you could get in person and I thought the love story progressed a little too quickly like I thought I would’ve been five stars if there was some tension or more hesitation between George and Lucy. But I did love the meet cute and the foreign country and teen (spoiler) them meeting up again.
Good
The book had a good plot, and was pretty decent for the short length. But the characters lacked depth and the book itself was very rushed. Also transition between events was choppy. Lastly the dialogue could have been more interesting.
Bad
I got 34% in and it just dragged some things on and sped up some things too much. George literally only looks at her in a sexual way. When he was thinking of her as pretty and good at piano he literally asked himself if she'd be as good in bed as she was at piano. She at least saw some depth in him throughout the beginning even if she was just hating on him. Also half of the boring things he says doesn't even make sense. Just my opinion but I don't think it's worth your time.
