In this short novel we are provided with an insight into Mark Compton's inner turmoil.
Mark must face his emotions. He is breaking apart. With the loss of Rebecca, his mother in the hospital battling cancer, the investigation into Rebecca's murder and these feelings he has for Crystal and the art gallery.
