In this short novel we are provided with an insight into Mark Compton's inner turmoil.
Mark must face his emotions. He is breaking apart. With the loss of Rebecca, his mother in the hospital battling cancer, the investigation into Rebecca's murder and these feelings he has for Crystal and the art gallery.
No matter how determined his attempts are fruitless.He doesn't know how to grasp the reigns of control. He has been provided another chance in life at a relationship with Crystal. The Master has been undone and it is everything he desires never to return nor wants to be.
