This is a good book and second book of this series. I would definitely recommend reading these books in order to best understand and get the full understanding and enjoyment of these books.
This story is very compelling with twists to keep someone turning those pages.
Interesting
It’s a different take on shifters. Continued with the characters and story line from the first. Want to see what happens next.
A Sequel that is a must read
This is book 2 in a series and even though it is mostly its own story I don’t recommend reading it as a standalone. You will thank me later. Mirdza is on her way to visit her friend and beg for help. She has been short on her luck lately and it doesn’t seem like anything is about to change. Should she really step up and help or just keep to herself? This is the question she asks herself when she sees the wrong doings on the train. The strong woman she is makes her step in but getting beaten and tossed out of a moving train window is more than just bad luck. Will her luck change?
Gregorio is our second horse shifter who we meet in this story. I don't want to give away anything but let me tell you an alpha male with serious trust issues is supposed to ensnare our strong female lady down on her luck.
If you know Bridget and her way of writing you know we are in for a rollercoaster of awesome twists, turns, and unexpected developments. The characters have feelings, depth, hurts, and obstacles to help them grow. I really hope you are not planning on doing any sleeping, housework, or other chores because I couldn’t put it down. Thank you Bridget for proving to us that Book 2 in the series does not have to be worth less than the first but can actually be even better. I honestly cannot wait for My High Horse Czar.
