Emily Owen was an energetic teenager who loved music – and life. But dreams of becoming a teacher, enjoying music and sport all crashed as she was given the shocking news that she had NF2 which had caused tumours in her brain that would lead to deafness.


Emily’s life would be completely different from the one she had planned. But she had a choice. Could she let go of the life she had hoped to live – and live a life wholly focused on God?


Written as diary entries, children can see first-hand how Emily learnt to trust God in all her circumstances.
