Publisher Description
This novel is a fictitious memoir. The narrative is told by Zachary, a U.S. military veteran who had taken on the task of writing these priceless chronicles about his father. He did so for his own reasons after: a major American tragedy befell New York City in 2001, disagreements with his dad arose, and other issues had occurred during that period of his life.
While composing this remarkable story, this son recounts that his father’s lifetime traverses through parts of Europe, Asia, and North America. There are many compelling, poignant, and even whimsical experiences to be shared in this very heartfelt tale as well - some within significant historical backdrops. But this special memoir had been put aside and forgotten.
Decades later, these writings were discovered again. It revealed the many formidable challenges and joys of growing up, settling down, work, and relationships regarding his dad. There were also frank sentiments and uncompromising conversations regarding society, family, religion, and politics. But within all these unbridled discussions, there were many loving and remarkable recollections about past places, persons, and events that were unfolded too. Some accounts, however, were yet to be written. Therefore, given the most profound memories already manifested, Zachary became inspired to finish the memoir that was started years ago. It’s because this son desired to celebrate his father’s life, family, and legacies.
