Fate has kept them apart for twenty years.

Their roads never crossed and the stars failed to align, until now.

Matured, more experienced, pierced, tattooed and hot as hell, Adrian steps back into Mia's life to reclaim his first love. And the moment she sees him she can't remember her own name.

Adrian Reed had always remained in Mia's heart. After all, he was her first in every way possible, but that was twenty years ago. His sudden appearance at a bar, on a girls night out, has Mia acting like a fifteen year old girl again.

But life now is not as simple as it was twenty years ago. With two kids, a hopeful ex-husband and new insecurities, Mia finds opening up to a new relationship challenging.

Will she give her first love another chance, or will she push him away, this time for good?

Join Mia and Adrian on their journey to finding their first love for the second time in My First, My Last.

Loved it!

I absolutely adored this book. It was my first by this author and I’m definitely gonna do a deep dive on their other work immediately. I thought Adrian was wonderful and such a devoted man. And Mia I just ached for her, it felt she was constantly torn between her past and present and I’m so glad she was able to find a way to blend both of those worlds in the end.

The only thing I would have changed was how little of Mia and Adrian’s background were given. I’d have loved to have seen flashbacks about their youth and when they met, as it sounded so magical and beautiful. I wanted badly to know why Adrian chose to move on after their first separation despite the words he and Mia shared about hoping to cross paths again.

I would love the author to produce short stories or novellas detailing their original relationship and maybe even certain moments during their two decades long separation when they geared for one another or thought of the other. From what I could gather Adrian spent most of their time apart hoping for a reunion and Mia spent it trying not to think of Adrian at all.

All in all I really did love this and I’ll definitely revisit it many times. It made me laugh and it made me cry (a lot) happy and sad tears. Would recommend to anyone who believes in soul mates and second chances and strong male hero’s with a gentle touch.
