In Liverpool, the barbershop Hipster Maniac is an institution. Run by three bearded, tattooed friends, it is the place to listen to great rock, get a trim, and have a drink.
But for Line, it also spelled trouble. For starters, when she first got to the neighborhood, she rear-ended Jordan's car, who turned out to be one of the three barbers. Then she discovered that they were neighbors in business and residence! So no way can she escape this muscle-flaunting, smoldering man who is covered in tattoos and… completely insufferable!
He draws her near only to push her away. He toys with her shamelessly. But worst of all he hates Christmas whereas that is Line's very favorite time of year!
Beneath a backdrop of festive fairy lights, intoxicatingly passionate kisses, and blistering banter… It’s on!

Love Jordan and Line
Line is moving home to run her grandpa’s business the Magic Cave an antique shop he left her. On her way there she accidentally hits the car in front of her, and this gorgeous angry bearded man is yelling at her and then flirting with her. They exchange information and she goes to her new apartment that’s right next to her business. Small world but grumpy bearded man is Jordan who is in the apartment across from her and has a business across from her. Jordan and Line have chemistry and attraction but Jordan keeps pushing her away. Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. I fell in love with this world and the characters in it.
Cute story
I love this story. It is not super spicy and the meetque is what pulled me in!! Then when they were neighbors and shop owner neighbors I was sold. This is a super funny enemies to lovers story that everyone should read if they love super cute love stories with angst and tension between the MCs.
Captivating story
My Hipster Next Door by Mag Maury is a good read. It is a bit spicy which I don’t normally read (will read more now). As for tropes I would say the following:

Forced Proximity
The relationship between the two main characters, Line and Jordan is like a roller coaster, a lot of ups and downs. The chemistry between them though, 🔥. I like how you learn a lot about their past and how they cope and overcome different trauma and grief. This book kept my attention and was hard to put down. Overall it was really a good read.
