My Irresistible Earl
“Enchanting, intriguing, fun—all the right ingredients for a really good read.”
—New York Times bestselling author Stephanie Laurens
USA Today and New York Times bestselling author Gaelen Foley is on fire—and things have never been hotter inside Regency England’s infamous Inferno Club. In My Irresistible Earl, the third book in the series, Foley takes readers once more through the doors of the scandalous society of London aristocrats who hide their dangerous missions behind rumors of debauchery. My Irresistible Earl reunites a once abandoned beauty with the secretive rogue she has never stopped loving—and when the sparks start to fly you’ll understand why Julia Quinn calls Gaelen Foley’s books, “Always fabulous.”
Foley's follow-up to My Wicked Marquess and My Dangerous Duke fizzles melodramatically. Worldly diplomat Jordan Lennox, the earl of Falconridge, is an agent of a secret order sworn to protect the king. Mara Bryce, Lady Pierson, is a wealthy young widow and not at all interested in finding a new husband but Jordan was her first love, who asked her to wait for him and then disappeared. Twelve years later, they meet again and sparks fly. Separated from Mara by his duty and wracked with regrets, Jordan wonders whether destiny has given them a second chance, but he is on another mission against a dark cult, and his decision to involve Mara endangers her even as he woos her. Characters are thinly drawn and inconsistent, and after a promising beginning, both romance and spy story become contrived.

Enjoyed the book loved Jordan and the other characters, I was hoping for more on the other brothers of the inferno club on to the next book in the series
