My Life With Lukas (On Topanga Canyon Boulevard): Tailspin

When Noah Whitmore's teenage cousin Lukas arrived on his doorstep one day in the middle of his sophomore year, it was a life-defining moment for both of them.

As a single, thirty-something science teacher with a personal life akin to a vacuum, Noah found that he now had someone in his life that needed his guidance and direction.  And Lukas soon discovered that Noah could be the father figure he so desperately needed.

When unexpected circumstances brought Lukas to California permanently, it fell to Noah to be there for Lukas, supporting him through difficult teenage years.  Noah was surprised to find that the relationship truly goes both ways.  Tailspin follows their journey through the summer after Lukas' sophomore year.

The fourth book in the series, this bitter-sweet story of self-discovery, family, and identity is told in My Life With Lukas (On Topanga Boulevard): Tailspin.  The story is one that provides moments of reflection, laughter, and joy, but also tells of an enduring hope that is always present when two kindred souls collide, searching for meaning in their lives as well as a new definition of family.
