August, a 26 year old writer moves back to Chicago for inspiration after given a deadline to complete his second novel. Who knew his inspiration would come from his new neighbor Sevyn, a 24 year old an army kid, born in Japan who grew up and became a high earning painter. Through out the book we take a look through both August and Sevyn’s point of view. What was their past like? Are they good at relationships? Did they come from broken homes? Did they develop poor habits? Did therapy help? And lastly how and why did fate bring the writer and the painter here, to Chicago?
