Okay romance
I thought that this was going to a great romance from the intro and it wasn't bad, however she didn't quite pull of the tension between characters that makes for interesting reading. Friends of ayen repeatedly remind him that he is a human being with rights. I felt it was an overly repeated pep talk. That he didn't need because he never questions this. Not a lot of soul searching for this character but just fighting for his rights. Characters seem to be good or bad but no shades of gray. Not a bad story but could be so much more.
