A week-long trip. A fake marriage. And seven delicious nights with only one bed in the hotel room.
He's my business partner, my good friend, and the man I've craved for years.
But I've resisted the sexy Brit, and I plan to keep up my walls because I've been there, done that, and I know how much it hurts when you let someone into your heart.
Then an opportunity comes along for us to snag the business deal of a lifetime.
We need to pretend we're married to pull off this high-stakes deal.
So the clever, charming man with secrets a mile deep becomes my temporary husband, as we travel around Europe. Soon, we fall into bed, tangled together like newlyweds who can't keep their hands off each other.
One week to explore our fantasies, then we return to who we were.
But when I learn the dark secrets he's been keeping, I doubt we can go back.
Because they change everything.
My One-Week Husband is a standalone.

I’m so glad that Daniel and Scarlett ‘s story was told. It was fun to read and it was also touching. This story have so much insight to why Daniel behaved the way he did in One Exquisite Touch which is Cole and Sage’s story. By the way I liked this book better. Taking a chance on love can really conquer one’s fears and that’s exactly what Daniel and Scarlett did. Until next time y’all happy reading.
A red hot, friends to lovers, fake marriage romance with all the feels
My One Week Husband, with all it's steam and undeniable character chemistry, drew me in from the start. I loved this book! This red hot, friends to lovers, fake marriage romance with all the feels both tugged on my heartstrings and made me want to reach for a giant glass of ice water.
I've wanted Daniel and Scarlett's story since One Exquisite Touch. As business partners looking for new hotels to acquire, Daniel and Scarlett spent a week traveling hotels pretending to be newlyweds. What started out as playful make believe quickly turned into something passionate and hot - a friendly tryst.
Lauren Blakely did a fantastic job combining the flirty sexy side with the more emotionally charged moments. Daniel surprised me with his vulnerability. He lost so much and my heart went out to him. I knew he had secrets that left him broken. When we learned about his past, I, like Scarlett, just wanted to take his pain away. Scarlett with her compassion and understanding was a good match for him.
In addition to this wonderful romance, prepare to fall madly in love with the scenery. Whether it was the streets of Paris or Monet's Garden in Giverny, Lauren Blakely paints these mystical place with such detail and beauty. As if I wasn't already desperate to visit France. This book only increased my desires.
My One Week Husband had a different feel from a typical Blakely book. There was so much more depth. That's not to say her other books are lacking. I loved this book and I highly recommend.
Thank god that’s over
Trite and vulgar. Characters have absolutely no dimension.
