Emotion packed!
I honestly liked the book, it felt well written. Loved the build up to the relationship between the couple. Although I wish the main character would have gotten over his previous relationship little faster, it made him wishy-washy and sometime annoying. It was like the story line was both fast paced and slow at the same time, but that could just also be my impatience to see them together. Lol. But it all it was refreshing to read a mm paranormal story with an actual plot and not just sex scene with a “me Tarzan, you Jane”. I do wish the story would’ve touched more on the paranormal side. But I’m thinking book two will solve that.
In all this is a NO cliffhanger, HEA story.
Needs editing
Or a rewrite. The narrator constantly repeats themselves, not in a messy thematic sense but in the sense they forgot all together. I got halfway through and gave up after the 3rd or 4th explanation of wolf senses.
This story has a lot of potential, I like the theme exploration but it needs editing work. Could probably be cut in half and be a better story
Good story idea. Unlikeable main character.
This story had a lot of potential. However, In my opinion Tom, the main protagonist was filled with way to much agnst after his break up with his husband. While I can appreciate and even relate to the author’s realistic character approach to the grief of losing a long term relationship it unfortunately made him a unlikeable character. Especially in the way that he treated his best friend and supposed new love interest, Sean. Who, by the end of the story deserved someone far better than Tom, anyway.
