A few hours separate Ben from the New Year’s Eve Party from hell and his dream of being a full-fledged writer. Ten years after his muse helped him write two one-act plays, he’s crippled with self-doubt and a lifetime worth of regret. After promising himself that he’d write a short story before year’s end, he’s yet to write another word, and the clock is ticking.
